The Microsoft Windows Preinstallation Environment (PE) is widely used by IT professionals in Windows environments for installation tasks, deployment, maintenance, troubleshooting, diagnosis, recovery, and so on. Windows Preinstallation Environment (aka Windows PE, WinPE) is a lightweight version of Windows XP, Windows Server 2003, Windows Vista, Windows 7, or Windows Server 2008 R2 that is used for the deployment of workstations and servers. The Windows ADK supports this work with the deployment tools that were previously released as part of the OEM Preinstallation Kit (OPK) and the Windows Automated Installation Kit (AIK) and include Windows Preinstallation Environment, Deployment Imaging, Servicing and Management, and Windows System Image Manager. Jun 16, 2018 In this video I have discus about WinPE which is also know as Windows Preinstallation Environment. Also will show you guys how to create or make WinPE Boot Disk on Windows 10 Computer. While Microsoft won't admit it publicly, it is the Windows Preinstallation Environment, aka WinPE, that allows one to create a bootable UFD–instead of using the more time-consuming Windows.
Fair use rationale for Image:Winpe.png[edit]
Image:Winpe.png is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Wrong Information about WinPE[edit]
As a Windows support engineer, many of my customer issues were with installation hence perhaps a deeper experience (not based on external documents only) with Windows 'installation'. I'm rusty on NT 3.1 but Microsoft Windows since 1993 have used Windows to install. Download cv templates for free. Win95 betas released in 1993 included. (Note that DOS 7 himem.sys initiates 32-bit protected mode on the CPU and provides XMS 3.0 services providing 64MB XMS 2.0 services in VMM.) Win9x used mini.cab (http://support.microsoft.com/kb/136830), a version of Windows 3.1 to run the installation. Occasional fixes for setup and doublespace issues involved rewriting the version info from 4.95 to 3.11.Shjacks45 (talk) 10:36, 18 March 2012 (UTC)
